Margarita Recipe – w/ Everclear?

I am making margaritas for my Cinco de Mayo Party- and I’m using my Jose Cuervo Margarita ball and the recipe says 6 1-liter bottles of mix and 2 750ml bottle of Tequila. This is supposed to make 40 6oz drinks (I think).

Now, I want to add some Everclear to this for just a little extra kick. How much? I have a 375ml bottle of Everclear.

A local restaurant has to notoriously strong margaritas, and they’re rumored to add either 151 or 100 proof vodka to theirs, so I’m just kinda looking to do the same thing they do, same basica margarita concept, but with a kick.

Party help: Ideas for dippers and mock-tails…?

I’m helping my teenaged brother plan a party (holiday party) for about 20 kids or so. He’s hopeless!

We are having a chocolate fountain. I wanted some unique ideas for dippers?

This is all I have come up with: big banana slices, strawberries, rice crispy treat pieces, pretzel rods, marshmallows.

Also, what should they dip with? Would long wooden toothpicks (like skewers) work? If you have any unique ideas that would help.

Also, they are all underage, but it would be fun if they could have some fancy drinks. "Mocktails" or virgin cocktails would be a good alternative. I’m mighty good with a real cocktail and a blender given a recipe, but I haven’t thought beyond virgin strawberry daiquiris?

PLEASE any ideas would be helpful! Thanks

What is the creamy layer on top of the Cheeseburger in Paradise cocktail from Cheeseburger in Paradise?

I love the Cheeseburger in Paradise drinks at Cheeseburger in Paradise, and I’m trying to figure out what the creamy layer is on top. The recipe says "Frozen layers of Parrot Bay Rum Piña Colada; Myers’s Dark Rum Runner, Margaritaville Margarita and Strawberry Daiquiri, prepared with fruit and juices and surrounded by an ocean of Blue Curacao," but I don’t think the cream-colored, creamy layer on top is just frozen Pina Colada. If anyone happens to know what it actually is I would appreciate it!

Good alternative for alcohol?

Always enjoyed drinks like pina colodas and daiquiris and like making them myself using the mixers. Trying to stay away from alcohol. Looking for something to replace the alcohol in them like the rum. I know it wont be like the real thing but does anyone have a recipe they use?

Margarita – Shaker barschool®

MARGARITAS The Margarita, meaning daisy in Spanish, was supposedly created in 1946 by Margarita Sames at a cocktail party in Acapulco in Mexico. If using blanco tequila, add a little more sugar than if using an aged tequila. Glass: 10 oz rocks or 5 oz Martini Method: shake & strain 25ml Tequila 25ml Cointreau/triple sec/Grand Marnier 25ml lime juice 1 barspoon of sugar/agave syrup Put all the ingredients into a mixing glass and fill with ice. Cap with a Boston shaker and shake for a few seconds. Strain either over ice in a rocks glass or fine strain straight up into a cocktail glass that has been frosted with salt. Garnish with a perky lime wedge or lime wheel which can be used to take the salt off the rim of the glass. Margarita variations A classic twist on the margarita is the Japanese Slipper, which substitutes a melon liqueur for the Cointreau. The Margarita can be twisted similarly to the Daiquiri, using fresh fruit, Funkin purées, syrups or liqueurs. Also using rested and aged tequilas can change the dimension of this classic tequila cocktail.
