The Margaritaville DM3000 is the top of the line from the Margaritaville frozen drink maker line, which is owned by Jimmy Buffet. In addition to more features than the DM2000 (which is the model right below it) it has the ability to create up to (3) 24 oz drinks with one run! If you are looking for the attention from all of your friends and want to throw parties at your house, the Margaritaville DM3000 will make them come over in an instant!
While it is called a Margarita machine and is mainly used for alcoholic drinks, there is no reason why the Margaritaville DM3000 can’t be a great addition to a full family with children. Not only will it make all the adult drinks that you want, but your kids will be in love with it as it will make them unlimited slushies, snow cones, and smoothies. Not only does it make great drinks, it will keep the kids, and maybe even you, entertained as it goes to work shaving ice, putting it down the chute, and blended to make the perfect frozen drink.
We can talk all day about how cool the Margaritaville DM3000 is, but you probably want to know the main features more than anything else. Well, here they are:

- Once again, Margaritaville has increased the ice reservoir on the DM3000, which has the ability to create up to 72 oz of frozen goodness in one run!
- Construction of ABS plastic and an exterior of polished steel along with bamboo wood accents.
- Blending jars are made of high impact plastic, allowing for the occasion dropping without shattering everywhere and ruining the entire party for the night.
While it is always nice to see the features on the unit as the company portrays it, it is really good to see what the users think about the products. A product description can look amazing, but if the product is rated low, you should probably avoid it. That is not the case for the Margaritaville DM3000. Not only do the specifications of this unit look great, around 95% of the buyers from Amazon.com have rated this unit 4 stars or greater. If you are not familiar with common product ratings, that is an amazing statistic! It is safe to say that this unit performs great!
However, the rating did not come from 100% of the people, which means that there are some minor complaints. In fact, there are two complaints about this margarita blender stand out.
For one, people are a little let down that the blending jar is made from plastic. However, having a blending jar made of plastic instead of glass allows for the occasional drop without any shattering at all. So, there isn’t really a problem here. For two, the price is pretty high for a Margarita machine. However, being the top of the line with so many high ratings, it is safe to say that it is well worth the money!
